Simple workflow

From PDF score to usable digital music in three steps.

01

Prepare the score

Start with a clear, upright sheet-music PDF. Beta conversions currently support up to three pages per score.

02

Recognize the notation

Choose a playback voice and submit the score. NoteBridge analyzes the musical symbols and structure.

03

Download the MIDI

After a successful job, download the MIDI file together with MusicXML and audio outputs before temporary artifacts expire.

Frequently asked questions

What to know before you convert.

Is MIDI the same as an audio recording?

No. MIDI stores musical performance instructions rather than recorded sound. NoteBridge also produces WAV and MP3 so you can listen to the recognized score as audio.

Will the MIDI always be perfect?

Optical music recognition depends on the clarity and complexity of the source score. Recognition results should be reviewed, especially when the PDF is noisy, skewed, dense, or uses unusual notation.

What happens if recognition fails?

Rejected or failed Beta jobs do not consume the protected credit reserved for the conversion.

How much does the Beta cost?

The current NoteBridge Beta is free for accepted participants and provides seven protected credits. Paid plans remain unavailable until after Beta.
